Description

She stepped on leaves scattered like broken gold and entered the hall of giant trees. Towering canopies formed a vaulted ceiling, shutting out dust and daylight alike. In this desolate, ancient realm beyond the world, she felt as small as motes of dust. The inspiration she had pursued so fiercely was about to scatter into poetry on the wind.
