Guiding Sparks

Description

The sunlight squeezes through the layered leaves outside the window, drawing back the sleepy cotton curtains to paint little round spots of light on the sketch. Nikki wants to catch the "sparks of genius" flying from the sky that Mom often mentioned, but the playful light spots slip from her wrist back onto the paper.
