Moon Longing

Outside the small window, songs and music drifted, golden goblets tipped before flowers on the long street. A bright moon hung in the sky, illuminating the solitary figure in the courtyard. She sighed at the moon, thinking no matter how many worries resided in her heart, she must not waste the laughter and joy outside the door.
