The crystal dome shattered into stars, and the ancient galaxy scattered into fireflies. She gazed at that empty sky, feeling herself no more than a tiny glimmer among them, not yet extinguished. Weariness swept over her. She slowly fell to the ground and slept in the silence of the endless night.
