Florawish/History
Florawish is an administrative region in the Heartcraft Kingdom. They have authority over the Florawish and Breezy Meadow regions of Wishfield.
## Old Florawish
Florawish was founded some time prior to the year 5237 AD, when the Dream Warehouse was created. It lasted until its destruction during the Veilfall.
## Art and Architecture
The only surviving pieces of art from several thousand years ago are stone carvings and designs. It is likely other forms of art existed, but were destroyed during the War Against the Dark.
The architecture of Old Florawish was made largely of stone. The style draws obvious inspiration from neoclassical structure, including columns, amphitheatres, curved arches, and votive alcoves. Most structures built during this period have been destroyed.

## The War Against The Dark
The residents of Florawish were 'at the forefront' of the War of Heavens. They suffered great damage and losses. In their desperation during one particularly powerful attack, they prayed fervently to The Wishing One, who sent a meteor shower to drive back The Dark, which later became the basis for the Wish Festival.
After the Heaven Fall, all of Wishfield was plunged into chaos. The sole burden of the War Against the Dark fell to humanity. Florawish's two greatest protectors were Aleysia and Sith, a Stylist and a shapeshifter who pretended to be Divine Envoys of the Wishing One in order to give the people hope. In a desperate bid to protect the region, Aleysia used the power of the Aurosa Scepter. Sadly, this power corrupted her, leading to her death at Sith's hands. Two months later, The Eight rose to power, and Aleysia and Sith were lost to history.
During this time, the culture of Florawish shows an interesting regression that mirrors the Greek Dark Ages after the collapse of the Late Bronze Age. The art, clothing, and architecture is considerably less advanced than the preceding period. It's likely that this is due to the loss of the gods and the following widespread calamity.
## Clothing
The clothing of the period varies. While ceremonial outfits displayed more detail and fine craftsmanship, most common folk wore far simpler and often ragged clothing. Decorating with feathers appears to have been a popular trend.

## Art and Architecture
The only surviving forms of art of the War Against the Dark are cave paintings found in the Serpentine Ruins, and the Wishing Tablet is the only still-extant structure. It closely resembles ancient stone steles, with a Celtic knot pattern surrounding the iconography of the Serpent.

## Reconstruction Period
The reconstruction of Florawish from the destruction of the Veilfall officially began in 235 AW and was largely completed eleven years later. However, rebuilding efforts had already begun at least a century prior, as evidenced by the Stylist's Guild Memorial.
Lilina, the first mayor of Florawish, was elected some time around 240 A.W. It was difficult to obtain materials to design outfits at the time, so well-styled garments were considered a luxury.
## Art and Architecture
The artists of the Reconstruction Period were skilled in many different mediums, including frescoes, stained glass, statuary, and mosaics. Most of the art is generally themed around The Wishing One, other religious themes, and major historical events.
This period began to introduce new building materials and styles, such as the usage of stained glass and metal, while still retaining key points such as the usage of stone as the primary material. The style mirrors the palatial architecture of western Europe in the seventeen and eighteenth centuries, most especially those of France.
Many of these structures were destroyed during the War of the Descendants.

## Later History
Approximately three centuries ago, Queen Philomia was the ruler of the Heartcraft Kingdom. She was considered a mad tyrant and was later imprisoned in the Queen's Palace Ruins, where she died.
At some point several hundred years ago, Florawish was set upon by Fanatic Wishers, religious extremists who believed that eradicating Stylists was the only way to bring the Wishing One back to life. In a rare alliance with their neighbors of Stoneville, the people of Florawish managed to fight back, launching the Mistveil War. The war culminated at a final battle in the Abandoned Fanatic Wisher Camp, where a Kingdom Guard member known only as 'The Sword Master' defeated the last of the enemy forces and restored order to the region.
## Clothing
The designs of the period embody a royal, fairytale concept, echoing Georgian and Victorian fashions.

## Art and Architecture
Much like the earlier periods, stone was the primary building material, and slate or metal ornamentation remained popular. Rather than symmetical designs and layouts, large structures centered around numerous spires and towers. The usage of rose windows and stained glass suggests a Gothic influence.

## Present-Day
Fifteen years ago, a series of disappearances struck the town, which remained unsolved until Nikki discovered the victims being held prison by the Faewish Sprite paladins.
In the months leading up to Nikki's arrival, the town became plagued by a series of mysterious comas. It was later discovered that these were the work of the Prophet's Quick-Wish Bottles, a scheme concocted by Chigda to sow the seeds of desperation in preparation for his apotheosis into 'the new god.'
