Heartcraft Kingdom/History

The Heartcraft Kingdom is one of the seven great nations of Miraland and is associated with Empathia.

## Early History

The exact origins of the kingdom are still unclear. The capital of Cicia existed at some point during the War of Heavens, as it was defended by Knight Heurta in the conflict. It's unclear if the city was a part of the kingdom, or a sovereign nation. As Heurta was sent to defend the Wishing Woods, it's likely that Cicia was an ally of Wishfield long before the region became a part of the Heartcraft Kingdom.

It can be said with reasonable certainty that the expansion of the kingdom occurred after the War of Heavens. This process likely took place over many centuries, given the nation's extensive size. The area of Florawish (and therefore likely the rest of Wishfield) was officially part of the kingdom no later than 127 A.W., given that a map of the region appears in the Stylist's Guild Memorial outside of Florawish.

## Known Conflicts

The Wishfield region was involved in the War of the Descendants, an armed conflict between the Faewish Sprites and Pieceys. Residents of Florawish supported the Sprites; those of Stoneville fought for the Pieceys.

The region also suffered from the Mistveil War, an assault launched by the Fanatic Wishers.

## Royal History

The Heartcraftian monarchy has existed for at least a thousand years. Though not explicitly stated, the monarchy seems to be matriarchal, as all named rulers have been queens, which is likely a tradition dating back to the time of Empathia and the War Against the Dark.

One of the most infamous queens, Philomia, lived approximately three hundred years prior to the game's events. For reasons still unknown, she was never allowed to fully ascend to the throne, and was ultimately exiled to what would become known as the Queen's Palace Ruins in Wishfield.
