Titan/History

The Titans were beings that inhabited Itzaland several thousand years ago, though the exact causes of their disappearance or extinction is yet to be known.

## Early History

One of the Titans' earliest settlements was Rockville. Even during this time period, many years before the establishment of the fabled "Heaven's Reach," the Titans possessed advanced scientific and mechanical knowledge and had a thriving society. The Crystal Beach provided salt-like crystals which were instrumental in sustaining the people of Rockville. However, the site was abandoned for unknown reasons.

## Coliseum

At some point after their migration from Rockville, the Titans settled around the Coliseum. Though once considered the height of their civilization, recent study has suggested that the settlement may only have been a stepping stone for later, more technologically advanced cities.

During the time of the War Against the Dark, the residential area surrounding the Coliseum was still fully functioning as a workshop.

## Heaven's Reach

The "Golden City" of Heaven's Reach was supposedly built by the Titan's prior to their disappearance from the rest of Miraland. No physical evidence of its existence has been found, Though the exact chronology of the War Against the Dark is unknown, the war continued for several centuries after the Veilfall itself happened. Epitaphs from the Titan's Graveyard clearly show casualties from the War Against the Dark, further suggesting that the Titans continued to leave even after the destruction of their city.

The mere existence of the Titan's Secret Hall Ruins additionally proves that the Titans did not all die during the collapse - inscriptions state that it was only constructed after the Titans learned of their impending demise. As constructing a room of that size would have taken at least several months, the Titans either continued onward in a limited capacity, or they somehow had knowledge that the Veilfall would descend before it actually did.

* The Coliseum bears a striking similarity to the iconic of the Roman Empire.

* One archaeological survey theorizes that Rockville may have abandoned due to volcanic eruptions. The Roman settlements of and were both famously abandoned for the same reason.
